Today, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals issued its decision in the first of the two Tesla cases before it. The Court upheld the NLRB’s rulings (1) that Musk’s tweets were unlawful threats, rejecting Tesla’s First Amendment arguments, and (2) that Tesla had unlawfully fired Richard Ortiz for exercising his rights to organize a union.

You are invited to a Region 6 conference on issues of social justice, “An Injury to One Is an Injury to All,” scheduled for May 6-7 at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. The conference is open to all members, and will convene at 11am on May 6 and end at 5pm on May 7.

UAW Region 6 members are actively organizing for a permanent ceasefire – find information below on current efforts you can plug into. All Region 6 members and workers on organizing campaigns are strongly encouraged to get involved.
