As a Region, what we’re able to achieve is a function of how many members are actively participating to build power at every level. Every advance we’ve made as a union has been the direct result of thousands of workers actively participating in big and small ways to make decisions and build power together – in department meetings, 1-1 convos, workgroups, committees, GOTV, direct actions, membership meetings, unit-wide votes, surveys, bargaining caucuses, picket lines, and much more.
